Snow Peak YAKEI SUITE ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA is a strong choice for travelers who want dinner, a private sauna and an evening by the fire in the hills above Fukuoka. What stayed with our editor was how the meal changed with the weather and the lights of the city. Plan your arrival before booking: the property has no station or airport shuttle, and vehicle access is restricted overnight.

Who this stay is for
This experience suits travelers who value nature, food and quiet time more than a central-city location. The address is 710-2 Kashiwara, Minami Ward, Fukuoka, inside ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA.
Plan your arrival time
Check-in starts at 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. Contact the property in advance if you will arrive after 5:00 p.m. The gate is closed to vehicles from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The official FAQ states that there is no shuttle from stations or the airport.
See the route from Fukuoka Airport or Hakata Port in the KYUSHU TRAVEL access guide.
Changing weather, the room and a private sauna
Cloud, light and the city view changed throughout our stay. That close connection to the weather was part of the experience. The official information confirms private saunas and cold-water baths in VILLA and COTTAGE units. LAND CAVE guests do not have access to a shared sauna, so check the room type before booking.
French cuisine meets outdoor cooking
In the evening, staff came to the room to prepare dinner. Dining as the sky darkened and the city lights appeared felt almost dreamlike.
The official site describes dinner as a meeting of French cuisine and outdoor cooking by chef Hiroki Yoshitake. Food is delivered to the room in an OKAMOCHI, a Japanese delivery box. The meal includes elements using Snow Peak’s Flat Burner and Seppo-en grill. Menus and service details may change, so confirm the current plan when booking.
Bonfire lounge
The fire and the night view made the evening feel unhurried. The official bar time is 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., followed by quiet time across the property.
Breakfast
The official site lists the French regional dish “Pascard” and yogurt made with milk from the Aburayama pasture. “Pascard” is kept as the official name here. Confirm the latest meal details in your booking plan.
Public transport
A temporary bus runs from Fukudai Seimon-mae, close to Exit 1 of Fukudaimae Station on the Nanakuma Line, to the pasture side of ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA. As confirmed on September 11, 2026, it operates six round trips on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays during April–November 2026 and March 2027. It does not run on weekdays and may be suspended in bad weather.

Taxi: useful, but the cost varies
Our editor felt the taxi cost was high. We do not give a fixed fare because the route, traffic and time of day can change both the price and journey time. Decide both your outbound and return transport before arrival.
